A leadership development platform built by a law enforcement executive — for individuals who are ready to enter the profession, rise through the ranks, and change the culture.
Meet Sheronda Grant
Law enforcement executive, leadership instructor and founder of We Are Strong Enough, who has led at every level from patrol to command.
Sheronda Grant has spent 24 years in law enforcement, rising from police aide to officer, sergeant, lieutenant, captain and, in 2024, Inspector and Patrol Bureau Commander in a large metropolitan police department. A proud Milwaukee native, she has never forgotten the community that raised her, and she brings a community-rooted approach to everything she leads.

As her agency's Public Information Officer, she led communications through officer-involved shootings, line-of-duty deaths and the COVID-19 pandemic. Today she teaches IACP's Leadership in Police Organizations course for the Wisconsin Department of Justice and has mentored more than 40 officers to promotion.

She founded We Are Strong Enough on one belief: if you're strong enough to be a woman, you're strong enough to be a cop. The platform gives women who are entering the profession, rising through the ranks or leading at the top the training, community and encouragement to succeed. In 2022 she also created an annual Women's Law Enforcement Symposium, now in its fourth year.
What We Are Strong Enough Offers
Three ways to learn, lead and represent with We Are Strong Enough.

Courses & Programs
Career and promotion preparation built from real promotional processes, including the 60 Minutes of Game course.

Speaking & Training
Keynotes, workshops and leadership training for agencies, academies and conferences.

The Shop
Apparel, tumblers, journals and gifts made for the women who wear the badge.
The Four Principles
Everything we teach, from courses to keynotes, is built on four principles.

Take Initiative
Own your career. Don't wait to be chosen: prepare, raise your hand and go after the next level.

Embrace Challenges
Hard assignments build strong leaders. Every tough call, exam and setback is training for what comes next.

Help Others
Leaders lift as they climb. Mentor, share what you know and open doors for the women coming up behind you.

Overcome Toxicity
Don't let negativity define you or your workplace. Protect your peace, keep your integrity and help change the culture.
Credentials & Recognition
Sheronda doesn't teach leadership from a textbook. She has lived it at every level of a large police department.
